Dragon-types are often seen as ancestral Pokémon, with many Legendary Dragons revered like deities. They are rare, evolve late, and are difficult to train, but their stats usually surpass those of most other types, making them highly sought after.
Most Dragons take on reptilian designs, embodying the classic draconic image. However, there are notable exceptions, such as Vibrava resembling an insect, Dragalge modeled after a leafy seadragon, and Alolan Exeggutor echoing a palm tree.
Even non-Dragons have gained draconic ties through special forms, like Charizard becoming Fire/Dragon when it Mega Evolves with Charizardite X. These variations show the wide range of interpretations within the Dragon-type.
Fun Fact: Of the 10 Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon that exist, 8 of them are part Dragon-type.
